This gorgeous Palm Cockatoo is Seisia, who calls the Adelaide Zoo home and is an absolute fan favourite with her keepers and visitors alike. Seisia was hand-reared and loves a scratch and the attention, particularly if it's paired with tasty peanuts.

Palm Cockatoos are found in Northern QLD in Australia, and are listed as endangered. They rely on tree hollows for nesting and breeding, exhibiting interesting courtship behaviours that include 'drumming' with branches.

Seisia's keeper, Amelia, was able to snap the inspiration for this piece, which shows her beautiful crest and fluffy cheeks.
