Return and Refund Policy
At Korossy, we are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase. This policy is compliant with Australian consumer law and outlines your rights and responsibilities. Please review carefully before making a purchase.
General Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return, exchange, or store credit.
To be eligible for a return:
• The item must be in the same condition as when received, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
• Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation) must be provided.
To initiate a return, contact us at kat.korossy@outlook.com.
Once your return request is approved, we will provide the return address and instructions for shipping your item back. Please note:
• Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a fault on our end (e.g., incorrect or defective item).
Damages and Issues
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, follow these steps:
1. Notify us immediately at kat.korossy@outlook.com and include photos of the damage.
2. Retain all packaging and the damaged item, as these are required to claim insurance through Australia Post.
3. Follow the Australia Post guidelines for lodging an insurance claim.
4. Return the damaged item to us. Upon receipt and inspection, we will replace the item or issue a refund, exchange, or store credit as appropriate.
Please note: Providing false or misleading information for a claim is an offence under Australian law and may result in legal action. Failure to provide photographic evidence to both us and Australia Post may result in your claim being denied.
Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:
• Custom Products: Special orders or personalised items.
• Commissioned Artwork: A 50% deposit is required to secure your place on our waitlist and cover materials, time, and expenses. This deposit is non-refundable. Commissioned artworks are non-returnable as they are created specifically for you.
• Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants).
• Personal care items (e.g., beauty products).
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
• Sale items or gift cards.
If you have questions about whether your item qualifies for a return, contact us before proceeding.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to initiate a return for the original item (if eligible) and place a new order for the desired item.
Refunds
Once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note:
• Processing times may vary based on your bank or credit card company.
• If you have not received your refund after 15 business days of approval, contact us at kat.korossy@outlook.com.
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Fraudulent Claims Policy
Making a fraudulent claim for missing or damaged items is a serious offence under Australian law. At Korossy, we take all claims seriously and adhere to the relevant legal standards to ensure fairness and transparency.
What Constitutes a Fraudulent Claim?
A fraudulent claim occurs when a customer knowingly provides false or misleading information to gain a financial or material benefit, such as falsely reporting an item as lost or damaged to receive compensation, a replacement, or a refund.
Relevant Australian Laws
Under the Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth) and applicable state and territory laws, submitting fraudulent claims is a criminal offence. Penalties for fraud may include:
• Fines
• Imprisonment of up to 10 years
• Repayment of Compensation
Australia Post also investigates suspicious claims and may escalate them to law enforcement authorities.
Your Responsibilities
To ensure your claim is valid and compliant:
1. Provide accurate and truthful information.
2. Submit all required evidence, including photos of the damage or proof of loss.
3. Follow Australia Post’s insurance claim guidelines for damaged or missing items.
Important Notice
If you submit a fraudulent claim, Korossy reserves the right to:
• Reject the claim.
• Report the matter to Australia Post and the relevant authorities.
• Take further legal action if necessary.
Fraudulent claims harm businesses, customers, and the community. Please act responsibly and ensure all claims are honest and substantiated.
