The Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos are one of my favourite birds. I’d never seen or heard a Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo until a few years ago when I was at my family home in the Barossa. I heard the most beautiful but unusual sound. I went outside to witness two Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos flying and playing over our house, gliding within a few feet of me, so beautifully. That’s when I fell in love with this bird.
