Ginny The Deer

Meet Ginny the Deer in this enchanting realism watercolour artwork by Kat Korossy. A heartwarming portrayal that captures the spirit of this beloved animal. When she was a fawn she was found sitting in the middle of the road. Someone had picked her up and brought her to Barossa Wildlife Rescue for care. After a thorough assessment by our vet, it was determined that she had a tiny mark in the middle of her neck, but there was nothing wrong that they could see. We can only assume it was a head injury, possibly from being hit by a car.

For the first two weeks, Ginny sat in the kangaroo yard with little movement. However, she has since picked up and formed a beautiful bond with Boof, the old red kangaroo. Wherever Boof goes, Ginny follows, showcasing their heartwarming connection, giving each other little kisses whenever they can
