This giant flightless bird spends his days foraging for food alongside his kangaroo friends. Known for their slightly excessive personalities and crazy runs, emus are truly unique creatures.

Cecil can be found pecking away at berries and grasses, happily roaming his paddock and bathing in puddles and creeks.

In the wild, emu fathers spend weeks on end sitting on eggs and rearing their chicks, showcasing their nurturing nature.

This charming artwork features a reference photo taken by one of Cecil's keepers, Amelia, when he lived at the Adelaide Zoo. Cecil now resides at Kangaroo Rescue South Australia with his friend Leroy the KI Kangaroo.
