This sweet koala was found in Nuriootpa sitting on a fence in someone’s backyard on Boxing Day. This is how she got her festive name, found so close to Christmas and brought to us for care. Upon arrival, Holly was a bit dehydrated, so we took her out of the heat and allowed her time to recover.

Once she received the all-clear, Holly was released back into the parkland where she was originally found. Known for her lazy demeanour, she spent most of her days sleeping on the highest point of her enclosure. When she wasn’t napping, Holly enjoyed munching on her favourite gum leaves.
